about journal

VET VIZION

A multidisciplinary farmers friendly extension journal/magazine is a biannual journal/magazine published by India’s one of the premium private veterinary institutes, Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS) affiliated to Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences, (GADVASU) Ludhiana, accredited with Indian Council of Animal Research (ICAR) and recognized and approved by Veterinary Council of India (VCI), New Delhi.

The main objective(s) of this multidisciplinary journal/magazine is to share and raise awareness among farmers regrading various management practices viz. general, seasonal, reproductive, health, clean milk production and zoonotic diseases along with value addition of products for sustainable livestock development. While the population of India is likely to increase to more than 1.6 billion before near-stabilization by 2030, the food demand is expected to rise up to 400 million tonnes (MT) by the year 2050. Hence, it is need of an hour to educate the producers with the current trends in science and technology. Published by Khalsa Collage of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS), Amritsar
